Great location for a lay-over, with comfy rooms and a fantastic king-sized bed. Breakfast had a nice variety, including some local treats. Staff were friendly, but parking can be a bit tricky. Just ensure you get your ticket validated before you leave! A solid choice for a short stay.

Budget hotel with friendly efficient and incredibly helpful staff and beautiful views out to the park. Comfortable and easy location for visiting restaurants and bars. Walking distance to a big supermarket and a supermarket across the street. Clean restaurant, for dinner and breakfast. Very good service everywhere.

Modern accommodation, welcoming stuff, favourable location to Ellerslie racecourse. Location near to New Zealand, shops / city centre, and great restaurant. For tea or coffee visit Sierra Cafe nearby...
Wi-Fi was rather slow.

I chose Ibis primarily for its location, and I was pleasantly surprised by the easy parking and excellent access to Ascot Hospital. To top it off, I loved the Acacia Garden Bar, where I enjoyed the best New Zealand wines while soaking up the beautifully landscaped surroundings. The chef's commitment to sourcing sustainable produce made every meal good.
The sink in our room was blocked and had a bad smell, which was unfortunate as the repairman entered without warning. We were then moved to a dreary room with no view, which had a stale odor, giving me a sore throat the following morning.

Helpful friendly staff. Great location, handy to motorway on and off ramps, train station within walking distance, lovely outlook.
Not sure the buffet was value for money.

Very prompt service when I rang for some glasses to be delivered to the room. Clean and tidy and just what my mum and I needed as we weren't in the room for long. Room clean and tidy and very quite. Handy to the city but out so you didn't hear the noise from the road like when staying in the middle of the city.

the staff were friendly and responsive to my queries. the room itself felt rather cramped, especially considering the price I paid, and the small beds made for a challenging night's sleep.
One minor drawback was the parking situation;

We always stay at the Ibis when in Auckland. We find it fairly central, affordable and nice and clean. We also enjoy eating at the restaurant downstairs. It is always good food.
